Articles that contain the following errors will be updated to reflect corrections. However, there is no need to note the change.
- Typos for common nouns and proper nouns—provided that these do not change the meaning of the story after correction
- Minor numerical errors
- Grammar errors
Articles that contain the following errors will also be updated to reflect corrections. However, the updated article will include an erratum identifying the error and the correction. Only the editorial team is allowed to issue correction notices.
- Factual errors
- Major typos, or errors that change the meaning of the story after correction
- Updates or addition of substantive facts
