During DC’s Fandome event, the company unveiled new trailers and teasers for a slew of upcoming comic-book projects, including a new trailer for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. The trailer gives us our first look at what The Flash and Wonder Woman will look like in the 2022 sequel to the Arkham series.
Rocksteady Studios, the studio behind Batman Arkham Asylum, City, and Knight, is working on Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, which was first revealed in August last year. This new Suicide Squad game takes place in the same universe as the Arkham games, but it takes place after the events of Arkham Knight.
You can see the new trailer below.
The titular suicide squad, which includes villains such as Harley Quinn and Deadshot, is seen in the trailer taking on members of the Justice League, such as the aforementioned Flash and Wonder Woman, who appear to be under the control of the evil Brainiac. We also get to meet Amanda Waller, the woman behind the team—officially known as Task Force X—in this universe.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is a multiplayer third-person shooter in which players can play alone or with up to three other people, with bots filling in for you if you play alone. During the initial reveal, Rocksteady also stated that the full game is playable online or solo, with players being able to freely switch between characters at any time. While exploring a dynamic, open-world Metropolis, each of the four playable characters has unique traversal abilities.
The new trailer, however, does not provide a firm release date for the game. All we know is that it will be released in 2022 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
